What is Conkord?

Conkord is a free and open-source text, voice and video communication application to talk and play games with your friends.

How can I report a bug?

You can report a bug by sending an email to support@conkord.xyz

Is there is a roadmap for upcoming updates?

There is a roadmap that I have planned but I'm not planning to publish it publicly. I will try to update the app regularly as I find time.

How am I funding Conkord?

Since it is a free and open-source application I'm currently paying it from my pocket and I need supporters to keep project alive.

What is the Conkord's current expenses?

Conkord's current expenses are around 26$ monthly (and will need much more as a low-scale app when I need to scale it up) and as a university student government is giving 3000 Turkish Liras (~82$) monthly in the name of student help. So I'm spending it on this project and I need support.

Will there be Mac support?

I will work on MacOS support as soon as I could.

Will there be mobile support?

Mobile support is currently not planned but I can work on it later depending on request.

Will there be a web version?

Infrastructure for web version is tecnically ready but needs tests and implementations, I will leave it for later.

Uptime statuses?

Our infrastructure is currently working at 99% uptime but we will be restarting our services every 72 hours at 3 AM Germany time zone (GMT+1) to ensure your data safety and take a backup of our database. This restart takes less than 5 seconds so don't worry there will be just a little outage.

Who am I?

My name is Ayberk Katmerler, I'm a 20 years old artificial intelligence and data engineering student from Türkiye. I'm developing Conkord as a hobby and I'm trying to make it better everyday. I'm also working on other projects and trying to improve myself in different areas.

Conkord is a project that I started to find a solution to bannage of the most popular communication app in Türkiye, improve my skills and to make a useful application for my friends but then I wanted to make it a public application. I'm trying to make it better everyday and I'm trying to make it a better place for people to communicate and play games.

I'm also working on other projects and trying find some time to work on both of them.

So your support and help to improve Conkord is curicial and impressively helpful to me.
